On September 4, 2025, J. Wilkerson threw oout the first pitch at the San Antonio Missions (AA Affiliate for the San Diego Padres) baseball game. They were playing that night at the San Antonio Flying Chanclas.
Wilkerson was named as the groundskeeper of the year in the organization.
