Letter From The Editor
The old saying goes... if March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb. That’s good because this month is filled with ferocious music, movies, art and food. By the end of the month you will be eager for a rest.

We start this month’s issue with a feature on Indian restaurants. Food Editor, Marsha Mann, takes us along for the ride as she explores Tarka and Curry in Hurry.

On the cinema side of the spectrum we have an interview with Johnny Depp, who’s Alice In Wonderland hits theatres in March.

Tech guru, Radames Pera, solves a problem for all of those that have more remotes than hands by pointing out the best universal remotes. Siobhan Neile Welch gives the rundown on Austin’s improv scene. In music, our friends, Fulton Read, tell us how they are making their music available for the masses (and for free) by offering digital downloads of their songs.

And what would March be without the best in basketball and music. The Women’s NCAA Final Four is down the road in San Antonio and Texas Rockfest returns for the 11th year to downtown Austin.

While we may not be able to offer you our picks on who will be crowned tops o’ the hoops, we do give you as many Texas Rockfest band bios as humanly possible (from A Good Rogering to Yayo Sanchez) with mini-features on Agony Column, Danko Jones, Mother’s Anthem and Petals. We give you the who’s who and what’s what of this fabulous FREE festival. That’s right… save your money to actually buy something from the artists themselves.

INsite is a proud sponsor of Rockfest again this year, which explains our cover. Hope you like it. It was created for us by Dan Olson of 1836 Ink in San Marcos. We think it’s pretty sweet. FREE SHOW!

Come by and see us March 18-21 and for the kickoff party, SHAMROCKFEST, on St. Patrick’s Day. But please remember to pace your self for this fun-filled month of live music and leprechauns. Mixing the two can go bad really quick if you aren’t careful. You don’t want to know.
