Scandemonium - Benefiting Movember 11/12
The following event is to benefit Movember.
Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month. The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.

Scandemonium is a high tech scavenger hunt designed to test your wit and your fitness! Teams of two compete to solve clues, find locations and complete physical and mental challenges in a race against the clock. The first team to find all the locations and complete all the challenges in the shortest amount of time wins!
All competitors will be treated to a post-race party including a concert with FOUR amazing local Texas bands: John Arthur Martinez, Shawn Nelson, Jon Wolfe and Rich O’Toole will each play an hour and a half set so there will be plenty of music to enjoy!
We have lot's of fun and surprises planned for the day! Including some super-secret contests we will be talking about as the event gets closer!

We have confirmed with Guinness World Records that Scandemonium will be an official World Record attempt. Do not miss out on the chance to make history and change the face of men’s health! Grab your friends and coworkers and help us beat the record! Oh and bring friends, your neighbors and your co-workers - because it is going to take about 1000 of you!

Scandemonium is a charity fundraising event for Movember. Skullshovel is donating 100% of the profits from this event to help Movember change the face of men’s health and support prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives through their partners: Livestrong and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Doing good is great - but, doing good and winning money is awesome!
- First Place Team: $400 & choice of which Movember team gets the event donation!
- Second Place Team: $200
- Third Place Team: $100
Mo Requirements!
One team member MUST have each item below in order to compete in Scandemonium:
- Smart Phone with camera
- Facebook or Twitter profile
- QR code scanning application installed on your smart phone. We suggest:
You will not be able to compete without these items. Please do not register for the scavenger hunt if you don’t have both these items. If you need help installing a QR code reader please let us know. We’re happy to help you at one of our upcoming registration parties or at packet pick up!
